Discipleship Journey
Discipleship is a shared, relational journey – not a program to complete.

Discipleship is a shared, relational journey—not a program to complete. “Discipleship was never designed as a solo pursuit—it is a shared journey… not just lessons to complete; they are conversations to have, prayers to share, and truths to wrestle through together.” This pathway invites people into a life shaped by knowing Jesus, practicing spiritual rhythms, living in community, and sharing God with others. This journey is about moving from surrender to renewal, from obedience to fruitfulness, and ultimately to multiplication.

Knowing Christ
Knowing Christ is more than knowing about Him—it is entering a living, personal relationship with Him. “This is eternal life: that they know You.” We expose the danger of religious activity without relationship and invite readers into true intimacy with Jesus.

Having a Saving Faith
Salvation is a gift, not a reward. “It is by grace you have been saved… not by works.” Saving faith means trusting Jesus’ finished work, resting in His promises, and walking in assurance rather than fear.

Forming Spiritual Habits
Spiritual habits are relational rhythms that renew the mind and anchor the heart. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” You mentor teaches how to read, study, and engage Scripture through simple tools like SOAP, emphasizing presence over perfection.

Prayer
Prayer is communion with God—not performance. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him.” You’ll explore humility, surrender, and the pattern Jesus gave in the Lord’s Prayer, helping disciples build a daily rhythm of honest, relational prayer.

Worship
Worship is a whole‑life response to God’s worth. It is not limited to music but expressed in obedience, gratitude, and surrender. “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice… this is your true and proper worship.” Discipleship reframes worship as a lifestyle, not an event.

Fasting
Fasting is a posture of returning to God with an undivided heart. “Return to Me with all your heart, with fasting…” It is not about deprivation but about focus—creating space for clarity, conviction, and deeper intimacy with God.

Meditation on God’s Word
Biblical meditation means slowing down and absorbing Scripture until it shapes your thoughts and desires. “On His law he meditates day and night.” Discipleship teaches disciples to reflect deeply, internalize truth, and let God’s Word renew their minds.

Scripture Memorization
Memorizing Scripture equips believers for spiritual battles and anchors truth in the heart. “I have hidden Your word in my heart…” Discipleship explains why memorization matters and offers practical, joyful methods for internalizing God’s Word.

Following Jesus’ Teachings
Obedience is love in motion. “Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching.” We call disciples to align their lives with Jesus’ words, not out of legalism but out of devotion, trusting the Spirit to empower obedience.

Fruitfulness
Fruitfulness flows from abiding, not striving. “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” We’ll learn how the Spirit produces Christlike character and how pruning, patience, and dependence lead to lasting spiritual fruit.

One Another Living
Discipleship happens in community. “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” This chapter highlights the relational commands of Scripture—encouraging, forgiving, serving, and carrying one another’s burdens.

Living in the World
Disciples are sent into the world with clarity, conviction, and compassion. “As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them.” Disciples will be equiped to resist cultural pressure, live set apart, and shine as light in a dark world.

Serving
Every believer is gifted to serve. “Use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” Disciples will discover their gifts, overcome barriers, and serve from overflow rather than obligation.

Sharing God
Sharing the gospel is a privilege, not a performance. “Always be prepared to give an answer… with gentleness and respect.” Disciples learn to share their story, explain the gospel simply, and trust the Holy Spirit to work.
