People come to Renewal Counseling Group carrying real stories—stories of trauma, addiction, abandonment, and survival. Many arrive feeling forgotten, unseen, or unsure if change is even possible.

Our message is simple and true:

You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. You are not beyond restoration.

Renewal Counseling Group exists to walk with you—not to fix you, but to guide you toward the One who can heal, restore, and transform your life from the inside out.

Our approach is built on the biblical pattern of Release • Renew • Remain and anchored in the promise of Romans 12:2:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

This is not self‑help. This is Spirit‑led healing.

Release

Letting Go of What Was Never Yours to Carry

Trauma teaches us to grip tightly—to control, to protect, to survive. But control becomes a prison, keeping us anxious, isolated, and exhausted.

In the Release phase, we help you:

• Identify the illusion of control and why it feels so necessary

• Understand how trauma shapes thoughts, emotions, and survival instincts

• Learn what you can and cannot control

• Begin practicing surrender—not as weakness, but as freedom

You don’t have to carry your life alone. Release is the first step toward healing.

Renew

Healing Your Thoughts, Emotions, and Identity

Renewal is more than behavior change—it is spiritual, emotional, and neurological transformation. Scripture calls it renewing your mind. Science calls it rewiring your brain. Both point to the same truth: you can be transformed.

In the Renew phase, we guide you through:

• Recognizing, rejecting, and replacing lies with biblical truth

• Understanding how emotions work and how to steward them

• Breaking cycles of reinjury and self‑sabotage

• Building spiritual habits that reshape identity and restore hope

Renewal is not instant. It is daily, intentional, and deeply supported by the Holy Spirit.

Remain

Walking with Christ in a New Way of Life

Healing is not the end—it is the beginning of discipleship. Remaining in Christ means learning to walk with Him daily, even when life is still messy or uncertain.

In the Remain phase, we help you:

• Build a personal relationship with Jesus

• Form spiritual rhythms that anchor your new identity

• Live in community through “one another” practices

• Serve others from a place of renewed strength

• Multiply hope by sharing your story

Remaining is where transformation becomes a lifestyle, not just a moment.

What Makes Renewal Counseling Group Different

• Trauma‑informed: We understand how trauma shapes the mind, emotions, and body.

• Christ‑centered: Jesus is the healer, restorer, and source of lasting change.

• Practical: We offer tools you can use immediately—thought journals, renewal practices, emotional stewardship, and Scripture‑anchored truth work.

• Community‑driven: Healing happens in relationship, not isolation.

You don’t have to be “fixed” to begin. You just have to be willing.
